£20.26 in 2026 Challenge Year 4 East Boldon Juniors

This Spring of 2026, we’re inviting every family to take part in our
£20.26 in 2026 Challenge!

The idea is simple:

Each family aims to raise £20.26 for the PTA.

The twist?

Children lead the fundraising.

Rather than simply donating, pupils are encouraged to come up with their own idea, take on a challenge, and raise the money themselves.

When Does It Happen?

Start: Now!
Finish: Sunday 17th May (last week before May half-term)

The Challenge

Children can raise their £20.26 in any way they choose — something fun, helpful, or creative.

There’s no right or wrong way to take part, you can raise more or less than £20.26, and if you don't want to take part, then that's ok too.

Need Some Inspiration?

  • 🍋 Lemonade stand
  • 📚 Book or toy sale
  • 🧹 Extra chores at home
  • 🎨 Homemade crafts
  • 🍰 Bake sale
  • 🏃 Sponsored skipping or running
  • 🎤 Talent show
  • 🐕 Dog walking
  • 🎮 Gaming challenge
  • 🌱 Plant sale

Or try a fun “26 challenge”:

  • ⚽ Do 26 keepie-uppies
  • 🚶 Complete 26 walks
  • 📖 Read 26 books or stories
  • ⏱️ Do something for 26 minutes a day
  • 🚙 Wash 26 cars

Or come up with something completely original!

How to Donate

We’re using SuperKind to collect donations, with a separate link for each year group.

Each year group has its own fundraising pot, and donations can be made either with your name or anonymously. Totals will be automatically tracked for each year group.

You can also share your year group’s QR code with friends and family.

This means donations can be made directly online, rather than collecting cash. For example, if a child completes a job like washing a car, the person can simply scan the QR code and donate straight to the fundraising pot.

Children will also bring home a sponsorship form so they can keep track of how much they’ve raised and share how they chose to raise their £20.26. Please return this to school once completed.

Prizes

🏆 Year Group Prize

The year group that raises the most money overall will win:

⭐ An extra playtime with an ice lolly in the summer term.

🎨 Creative Fundraiser Prize

The PTA will also choose the most creative fundraising idea from each school.

So a brilliant idea could win — no matter how much is raised!

Why It Matters

This challenge helps children:

  • Build confidence
  • Be creative
  • Take responsibility
  • Feel proud of supporting their school

And together, those small contributions will support activities, equipment, and experiences for all pupils.

The current priority at each school is to improve their outdoor provision, coupled with our aim for the PTA to have our own storage facility to support future fundraising endeavours.

Get Involved

We’d love to see what everyone gets up to — feel free to share your fundraising ideas and photos with the PTA via our email eastboldonschoolspta@gmail.com or tag us into your posts on social media. We are on both Instagram and Facebook.

The Most Important Thing

This isn’t about raising the most money.

It’s about having fun, trying something new, and making a difference.

Every idea counts.
Every effort matters.
Every £20.26 helps.
