ActivKids UK are visiting our school as part of our Sponsored Fitness Event.  

The Event

The whole school is taking part in a sponsored fitness circuit to encourage children to be more active and inspire them to work hard to achieve anything they set their minds to.

The Date

The event will take place on Friday 20^th March 2026 during school hours.

Sponsorship

Set up a personal sponsorship page by clicking Join This Campaign above. Gift Aid will automatically be collected from funds raised on this page, if the requirements are met.
Paper sponsorship forms will be available from school.
Ask family, friends, and neighbours to sponsor you. 
You have 4 weeks to raise as much sponsorship as you can.
Any cash raised can be given to your teacher by Friday 13th March.  *We are extending the date in which you can bring in your cash donations by a week. You now have until Friday 13th March to bring in your cash donations and help raise more funds.  

The Exercises

The fitness circuit will include the following exercises:

Spotty Dogs
Leg Drives
Press Ups / Half Press Ups
Star Jumps

The Athlete

As well as a sponsored fitness circuit we will welcome a professional athlete to oversee the event! The athlete will be working with the children throughout the fitness circuits, encouraging the children and giving them some tips.

When the fitness circuit is complete the athlete will host an assembly where the importance of healthy eating, keeping fit and mental wellbeing will be discussed. Where possible, the athlete will show a demonstration of their sport followed by an opportunity for the children to ask questions.

The athletes will demonstrate that, hard work, teamwork and perseverance will ultimately enable children to achieve their goal not only in sport but in all aspects of their lives.

Prizes

Free stickers for all children taking part in the event.
£5 - £14.99 receive a signed photocard of the athlete.
£15- £34.99 receive a signed poster of the athlete.
£35+ receive the top prize of a gold medal, a personalised certificate and a photo with the athlete (taken on a school camera).
*Siblings are welcome to work together to fundraise.

Prizes will be handed out on the day of the event.

About ActivKids UK

ActivKids UK is a fundraising social enterprise designed to raise funds for both schools and unsponsored athletes. Some athletes need to train for up to 40 hours a week and this means they have very little time to fund their training. Not only does the ActivKids Athlete Fund cover training costs, but it can be used for equipment and medical costs.

60% of the funds raised will go back to our school and Activkids collect 40% for their athlete fund. Safe sponsorship is encouraged, we ask that your child only ask family members or close friends under your supervision, another option could be that you take it to work or ask your friends or colleagues to help with sponsorship.

This sponsorship money allows Activkids to continue fundraising for athletes and schools but more importantly inspire the next generation to do great things!
