The PTA is organising a fun and engaging sponsored Virtual Duck Race to help raise funds for the school. In this online event, participants can sponsor their class's rubber duck which will take part in a virtual race streamed online for everyone to watch. Each class will have their own racing duck, giving families, friends, and the wider community a chance to get involved while supporting the school.
The event will run from Monday 1st June to Friday 5th June, giving everyone the chance to sponsor their class duck and follow the excitement throughout the week.
Ducks can be sponsored for a small donation, and all funds raised will go directly towards supporting school projects, resources, and activities that benefit the pupils. On race day, the ducks will “compete” in a lively virtual race, with prizes awarded to the class of the winning duck and the class who raises the most money.
To round off the week, Friday will be a special duck-themed celebration day. Classes will be able to take part in fun duck-themed games and activities, and pupils are invited to come to school dressed as a duck or in the theme of their class duck to join in the fun.
The event is designed to be inclusive, easy to take part in, and lots of fun for children and families. By combining friendly competition with community spirit, the Virtual Duck Race aims to raise valuable funds while bringing everyone together to support the school.
