Challenge 25

This summer, the Friends of Lyng School (FOLS) are launching an exciting sponsored event called Challenge 25 to help raise the (hopefully) final funds needed for fantastic new play equipment for our school grounds. We’re already over halfway there, and with your help, we hope to reach our goal in time to begin work in the new Autumn term!

Challenge 25 encourages children to take on a sponsored challenge of their choice over the summer holidays. The idea is simple – pick an activity and get sponsored to complete it! It could be walking 25 miles, reading 25 books, swimming 25 lengths – or even something completely different like baking cakes to sell or even climbing a mountain! The challenge can be themed around the number 25, or not – it's totally up to each child to decide what inspires them.

With the help of an adult, children can create their own fundraising page linked to our main campaign here on SuperKind. It’s a fun, easy, and secure way to raise money, and sharing your page with friends and family on social media or messaging apps like WhatsApp means even more people can support your challenge.

Let’s make this summer one to remember – get creative, take on your challenge, and help us reach our goal. Together, we can make a big difference for Lyng School!
