This year we are continuing our £30,000 fundraising efforts to raise money to develop the outdoor space at Roger Ascham. Many of the the children’s ideas have already come to life with the installation of the Trim Trail, and the development of the pond and wildlife area.

We want to turn all ideas into reality and our next big push is to fund the sensory path; which we still need to raise £16,000 for across all fundraising activities.

After the roaring success of ‘Challenge 30’ in 2025 where the children lunged and burpeed their way to raising a whopping £5,000, this year’s fundraiser embraces nature and the green space we have at Roger Ascham. 

On Thursday 30th April / Friday 1st May each class will take part in Nature Bingothon. Wildlife signs will appear around the outdoor space. Each child will receive a unique bingo card with 26 of those wildlife symbols - the challenge - find their nature signs and mark them off their card. 

We now need your help, to raise sponsorship money from generous friends and family for completing the challenge. Please ask sponsors to donate using the QR code you used to reach this page or collect cash in person using the sponsorship form given to each child. Cash donations must be added up and handed to class teachers by Friday 8th May 2026. 

Please ensure you supervise your children whilst they request sponsorship. The money raised can be collected as cash and handed in to the children’s teachers by 8th May 2026 OR you can donate directly through this fundraising page. This will ensure we are also able to collect GiftAid on your generous donations.
