WESTERN DOWNLAND’S 2026 FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE

Dear Parents, Carers and Children,

🌟 Our 2026 Challenge! 🌟

This term, we’re inviting every child and their family to take part in our 2026 Challenge!

The challenge is simple: try to raise £26 before the end of 2026. You can take part on your own, team up with your family, or get creative and do it however you’d like.

Please remember that taking part is completely voluntary, and £26 is simply a guide, not a limit. If you raise more, that’s amazing! If you raise less, that’s absolutely fine too Every contribution counts and everyone who takes part is making a difference.

🎉 A Special Prize!

Every child who takes part and raises at least £26 will be entered into a draw for the chance to win a £50 voucher for Paultons Park! 🎢  The winner will be announced in the first couple of weeks back after the Christmas Holidays.

💡 Fun Ways to Raise Money

There are lots of fun and creative ways to get involved. Why not:

  • 🏠 Help at home – do some extra chores in return for a small donation.
  • 🧁 Have a bake sale – bake some treats and sell them to family, friends or neighbours.
  • 👕 Have a clear-out – sell unwanted toys, books, clothes or games at a second-hand sale.
  • 🏃 Take on a sponsored challenge – run, walk, cycle, dance, swim or read a certain number of books!
  • 🎨 Get crafty – make some festive creations and hold a stall at the Christmas Fair to sell your handmade goodies (email [email protected] to book your table at the Christmas Fair).

You might even come up with your own brilliant fundraising ideas and we can’t wait to hear them.

Thank you so much for your support. Every pound raised makes a real difference, helping us to improve our school and create exciting, enriching opportunities for all our children.

We can’t wait to see the fantastic and creative ways our children take on the 2026 Challenge!

Whichever way you choose to fundraise, please remember to complete and return your form once your fundraising is complete. Be sure to include your full name and year group so we can make sure your name is entered into the draw for the chance to win a ticket to Paultons Park!

Please remember that the fundraising campaign closes on 31 December 2026, so make sure all your fundraising is completed and your form returned by this date.
