Richard’s BIG run for little learners

On 26th April, Richard Clarricoates will be taking on the iconic London Marathon, pushing himself through 26.2 miles to support something very close to his heart—the children of Willingdon Primary School.

💙 Why Richard Is Running

Richard is a proud dad to two wonderful children at the school and a much-loved member of the school community, known for his wit and humour. While he’s not your typical runner, he’s decided to take on this incredible challenge to make a real difference. He’s running not just for his own children, but for over 400 pupils, helping to create a better environment where every child can learn, play, and thrive.

🎯 What the Fundraiser Will Support

All funds raised will go towards:

  • 🛝 New playground equipment, giving children a fun, safe, and engaging space to play

  • 📚 Enriching learning opportunities, providing resources and experiences that enhance education beyond the classroom

🏅 The Challenge Ahead

Taking on a marathon is no small task—especially for someone who wouldn’t call themselves a natural runner! But Richard’s determination to support the school community is stronger than the miles ahead.

🙌 How You Can Help

Every donation, no matter the size, will have a direct and meaningful impact on the children’s daily school experience.

👉 Please sponsor Richard and support this fantastic cause. Together, we can help create something truly special for the children of Willingdon Primary School.
