On Friday 19 June 2026, Primary 7 pupils will be taking to the hills of Edinburgh (3 out of the 7!) to raise money for one of our school's partner charities, the John Muir Trust. We are very lucky to have beautiful spaces to enjoy in Edinburgh right on our doorstep and acknowledge that some people work very hard to maintain the pathways that we enjoy walking on and the peaceful spaces that we spend time in. 

As part of our action towards the school's annual Charities Day, our walk will be approximately 15km around Easter and Wester Craighlockhart Hills, past the community allotment at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital and onto Blackford Hill before returning to school.

We know that many in our community will also walk on the pathways maintained by the John Muir Trust and we are therefore inviting donations from family and friends to help us on our way, and to support the work of this important charity.
