Primary 7 Three Hills Challenge

On Friday 20 June 2025, Primary 7 pupils will be taking to the hills of Edinburgh (3 out of the 7!) to raise money for two of our school's partner charities. We are very lucky to have beautiful spaces to enjoy in Edinburgh right on our doorstep and acknowledge that some people work very hard to maintain the pathways that we enjoy walking on and the peaceful spaces that we spend time in. 

As part of our action towards the school's annual Charities Day, our walk will be 13km around Easter and Wester Craighlockhart Hills, past the community allotment at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital and onto Blackford Hill before returning to school.

This is a sponsored walk with money raised going towards two of our partner charities: The John Muir Trust, and Edinburgh Cyrenians, our neighbours in the local community. Each Tuesday lunch time, groups of pupils in the Junior School spend time in the allotment working alongside the charity to continue to develop the space for people to enjoy and we know that many people will walk on the pathways maintained by the John Muir Trust.  

We are therefore inviting donations from family and friends to help us along the way on our 13km walk, and to raise money to support the work of these two important charities.
