Great Meols’ Great Walk for Great Hope 2026

On 14th July 2026, the GMPS community will come together once again to walk for a cause that truly matters—supporting the children of Great Hope Children’s Home in Kenya.

Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our school community, we raised over £10,000! Although our original plan to fund a borehole was not possible due to land conditions, the money still made a lasting impact. It helped provide new toilets for the girls, improving their safety, dignity, and daily lives, while laptops and tutoring opened new opportunities for learning and personal growth.

This year, we're determined to provide even more support for these children.

Many of the children currently attend overcrowded schools with limited resources and few opportunities to thrive. Our goal is to help give some of these children access to boarding school education, where they can benefit from a safe environment, quality teaching, and the support they need to reach their full potential.

Every step we take and every pound we raise will help create brighter futures, opening doors to opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.
