Hartside’s fundraiser for Farplace Animal Rescue

This campaign was inspired and chosen by our pupils. During class assemblies, children explored different types of charities and discussed causes that matter to them. After thoughtful conversations and a democratic vote, followed by further discussion with our School Council, the children decided they wanted to support an animal charity. They felt strongly about helping animals in need, which led to the selection of Farplace Animal Rescue.

Farplace Animal Rescue does incredible work providing care, shelter, and a second chance for animals who are vulnerable, abandoned, or in need of urgent help. Their commitment to improving the lives of animals really resonated with our pupils, who were passionate about making a difference.

Through this campaign, we aim to:

• Support the important work of Farplace Animal Rescue
• Encourage compassion and empathy towards animals
• Empower our pupils by giving them a voice in charitable decisions
• Bring our school community together for a positive cause

We are incredibly proud of our pupils for choosing to help others and for showing such enthusiasm and kindness. Every donation, big or small, will help Farplace Animal Rescue continue their vital work.
