Hunger helpers (Year 3 and 4 Egrets at Great Meols Primary school)

The Year 3 and 4 Egrets believe that no one should go hungry in our World. We believe that all food should be shared equally around the World. There is enough for everyone if we just share.

Action against Hunger is a charity that helps families around the globe. Children who are malnourished and seriously ill from lack of food are saved. Their families are supported too. The charity we have chosen provides food to prevent children just like us from suffering.

We wish that this was not necessary, but sadly it is. Our friends around the planet need our help. Please support our charity event and sponsor us to complete our Hunger Helpers mission.

Our Hunger Helpers charity event:

On Thursday 11th July we completed a non-stop netball/basketball challenge that we called: Hunger helpers hoop heroes!

We worked together to continuously shoot balls into the hoops to score as many times as possible. We kept going for as long as we could - until our arms were too sore!  WE SCORED 201 HOOPS! We were thinking of our friends around the World who would not have the energy to attempt this, due to lack of nutrition. We would love it if you could recognise our hard work by donating to our cause. That way, more families can receive the help they so desperately need.
