We are seeking support to build a fully accessible greenhouse within our primary school grounds—an inspiring, hands-on learning space that will benefit all pupils, including a significant number of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly Autism. This project is about far more than gardening; it is about creating a calm, engaging, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
For many of our pupils, especially our Autistic community, traditional classroom settings can be overwhelming. A greenhouse offers a unique alternative—a structured yet flexible environment where learning becomes sensory, practical, and deeply meaningful.
