This term, the Latymer Foundation is challenging pupils to Grow a Fiver to support the Prep Bursary Fund. Ask your parents for £5 ‘seed money’ to get you started and see if you can make it grow into more money for the Foundation.

How do we do it?

We don’t mind how you grow your fiver. You could make a product and sell it – there are lots of ideas online for products to make and sell, from homemade craft items such as slime, bath bombs or jewellery to bookmarks, toys, or hairbands. You might want to perform a service and charge a fee, like car washing, window cleaning or dog walking. It might be that you are a talented performer and you could put on a show and sell tickets to friends and family. You can work on your own or in a team. You’ll soon realise that the world is your oyster and dreaming big is really fun!
