We are excited that a Year 1 parent, Jillur Quddus, has set himelf a marathon challenge, whilst raising money for our School through the first year!
The challenge entails running all 6 world marathon majors across the 6 years that his son, Teddy, will be at Primary School. For the first year Jillur will be running the Berlin and Tokyo Marathons. Berlin was completed in Sept 2025 and Tokyo is set for March 2026.
We are hugely grateful for Jillur's fundraising for PALS (Parents Association of Leigh Stationers') who support Leigh Stationers' Primary Academy with finances to improve or provide educational experiences, enhancing their school life and learning.
To date, through running the Berlin Marathon, Jillur has raised £650 for the school which is incredible and we are hugely thankful.
Now entering winter training for Tokyo, let's support Jillur with further sponsorship as it all goes to helping children and their education.
Many thanks from us all here in PALS.
Sian, Nina & Sara.
