Livingstone Academy Bournemouth – £26 for 2026 Fundraising Challenge

We’re excited to launch our “£26 for 2026” fundraising challenge – a fun, inclusive way for children and families to support our school community.

🎯 What are we raising money for?

We are fundraising to build a weatherproof outdoor reading den – a wonderful space for children to enjoy reading all year round.

💡 What is the challenge?

  • Each child is encouraged to raise £26
  • Children can raise more or less – every contribution counts (even £1!)
  • Families with more than one child can work together to raise £26
  • Taking part is voluntary, but we’d love everyone to get involved

📅 Key Dates

  • Starts: Friday 15th May 2026
  • Ends: Donations must be submitted by no later than 3.15pm Monday 15th June 2026 
  • Winners announced: During assembly Friday 15th June 2026

🚀 Fundraising ideas?

Children are encouraged to get creative! Ideas include:

  • Sponsored bike ride, walk, silence or reading challenge
  • Cake or toy sale
  • Helping others (washing cars, chores, litter picking)

💳 How to submit donations

Cash

  • Bring completed fundraising sheet + cash in envelope
  • Hand in during the following times Monday 8th - Monday 15th June 2026:
    • Mornings 8.15am-8.30am
    • Afternoons 2.45-3.15pm

Online via Superkind

  • Create a personal fundraising page linked to the school campaign
  • Share your link or QR code with supporters

🏆 Prizes & Recognition

🎉 Everyone who takes part:

  • Receives a certificate in assembly

🌟 Special Awards:

  • Most Creative Fundraising Idea (1 per class)
  • Highest Amount Raised (1 per class)

Each class winner will receive:

  • 🎬 A VIP movie afternoon with popcorn hosted by Mrs Gould
  • 🏅 Winner’s certificate
