Our local charity partnership: Oxford Samaritans, which is a group of volunteers who are there to support anyone in distress.​ Every 90 minutes in the UK, a person takes their own life.​ Every 10 seconds, Samaritans responds to a call for help.​ The Oxford Samaritans is a local branch of 170 volunteers who take 39,000 calls and 12,000 emails per year. Aimed at suicide prevention and mental health support, their helpline is open to all, 24/7 and 365 days a year. ​
