Challenge26!

This March, our school will be taking part in Challenge26! an exciting whole school sponsored event designed to raise funds for replacing our adventure playground and play areas. Every year group will participate in a different challenge during the school day, as outlined below.

Our aspiration is for each child to raise £26 by asking friends and family members parents, foster carers, grandparents, aunties, uncles, friends and neighbours to sponsor them. Any contribution is greatly appreciated, and donations above £26 are warmly welcomed.
If every child participates, we have the potential to raise over £10,000 for our school!

Challenge26! Activities by Year Group

• Early Years & Year 1
  Scoot/Pedal‑athon – children will complete as many laps of the playground as possible on a scooter or bike within a set time.
• Year 2
  Dance‑athon – 25 minutes of continuous dancing.
• Years 3 & 4
  A choice between a Draw‑athon or a Sportathon, involving a variety of creative or physical challenges.
• Year 5
  Jog‑athon – how many laps of the field can be completed in the allocated time.
• Year 6
  Score‑athon – children will aim to score as many goals or baskets as possible within a fixed time.

We appreciate that fundraising activities often require the support of families, and we are grateful for anything you can do to encourage your child to take part and share why this challenge will directly benefit their school experience.

All sponsorship money must be received by 20th March 2026.
