Oaklands Colour Run 2026 – Year 6 Bagot Goat

Friends of Oaklands are bringing a colour run to Oaklands School for 2026!  Everyone from Year 1 to year 6 (and all the teachers) can join in if they want to!  The run will take place on Friday 17^th July from 1.30pm. Nursery and year R will not be missing out either as they will be having a bubble party on their playground. This is a sponsored fundraiser to raise money to buy new sound system for the whole school to enjoy.

It’s a fun run or walk with added bursts of colour, participants run the course and are showered with coloured powder along the way.  The colour sticks better when slightly wet so there will be a little bit of water involved.  It’s not a race!  In fact…if you go too fast you’ll miss all the colour!

All pupils in year 1 to year 6 can take part during a school afternoon as long as permission has been given from a parent/guardian.  Your child will not be able to take part unless consent has been given via the form sent from the school office.

An added CHALLENGE!  The class who raises the most AND has the best attendance will have the chance to throw some water and colour on SLT and teachers in an extra colour run after their runs.  The class who raises the most in nursery or year R will get a small reward from FOO.
