Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) is the UK’s leading anti-racism educational charity. It was established in January 1996, thanks in part to a donation by then Newcastle United goalkeeper Shaka Hislop.

On Friday 18th October,  students and staff at Prendergast Ladywell School will be  wearing a red item of clothing or accessory, e.g. socks, earrings, T-shirt,  hair ties, and donate a minimum of £1 to Show Racism the Red Card.

2024 is the 10th Anniversary of Wear Red Day.

Every heart and every mind that we change changes at least one life but has the capacity to change hundreds, if not thousands of others.

Supporting Show Racism The Red Card

The charity’s objects (objects) are the advancement of education of the public, in particular young people, primarily through harnessing the high-profile nature of sport, in particular professional football, to work towards the elimination of racial discrimination in society.
