Saint Christina’s Sponsored Read

This summer, Saint Christina’s hosted a sponsored read to raise money for our school library. We are excited to announce that the sponsored read will continue into Autumn Term 1, giving us the chance to involve even more children and keep building momentum. Our goal is to make some big improvements to the library and transform it into an even more exciting, welcoming, and inspiring place to learn. Every book you read and every pound you raise will help us create a space where imaginations grow and stories truly come to life.

Each student is invited to set their own personal reading goal for Autumn Term 1. Examples of goals include:

• Reading a set number of books each week

• Reading a certain number of minutes or pages each day

• Being read to by someone for a set amount of time each day

Children can enjoy a wide variety of reading materials such as books, comics, magazines, recipes, websites, poems, leaflets, menus, and instructions—anything with words counts!

Every child who takes part will receive a bookmark, and the child who raises the most funds will also win a book voucher.
