Sketchley Fox-Athlon!!

To continue our journey to improve and expand the Sketchley Forest area and as part of Well Being Week the whole school will partake in a sponsored walk/run. In 2024 we did this event and we raised £6,000 towards the start of the forest area and hope to raise a similar amount again this time. Expansion plan ideas include veggie patches and growing beds to allow the whole school time in the area throughout the year.

Date - Friday 15th May 2026

How - Children will each run several 10 min slots throughout the school day in their year groups.  We request a voluntary family donation of £1 per child plus you and your child(ren) can create a personal sponsorship page per family or child on SuperKind to get more donations for the event.

How - Adults can walk, run or cycle either a 5k or 5 mile loop around the village starting on the hour from 4pm until midnight. This is open to anyone over 18 years of age. We request a £10 entry fee and then optionally additional fundraising can be added via sponsorship direct onto SuperKind.

To create a full community buzz in school and further support Well Being Week there will be other events throughout the week for everyone to be able to take part in and support us to raise money for the Sketchley Forest expansion.
