On Friday 2nd October St Joseph's children will take part in a sponsored Colour Run during the school day to raise funds for the PTFA!

 

Please support the School, the PTFA and children, sponsor our colourful runners!

 

The event is to raise funds for the PTFA to support the school. In addition to the usual annual items the PTFA fundraise for and provide, the school leadership team request funds for larger items. This year, in addition to our usual funds, we are continuing to raise funds to invest in updating the technology to enhance classroom learning, items such as Tablets and Laptops. This is a big target which we will continue to raise funds for in addition to our usual funds requirements and additional support requests from school.

 

What is a colour run? 

A Colour Run is a fun, non-competitive event where the children can run or walk on a course around the school field while colour powder is thrown at passing runners from colour stations that are dotted along the way. 

 

The fine print! *PLEASE READ*

  1. For all children wishing to take part their parent/guardian must complete a consent and waiver form. Click Here Colour Run Event Consent Form & Waiver Document – Fill in form IF the form is not completed, unfortunately the child will not be able to take part. 
  2. It is suggested that children wear a white or light coloured t-shirt for the colour powder to really make a statement! 
  3. Safety goggles/swim goggles are required.
  4. If your child does not bring the goggles/safety glasses, a change of clothes and appropriate footwear, they will not be able to take part in the event.
  5. Please be aware the children will get coloured powder on clothing and footwear during this event, the powder may cause stains.
  6. For parents/guardians wishing to run alongside their child they must indicate this on the waiver form above where indicated.
