SolarAid Day at St Luke's 

Each year St Luke's are committed to raising money for the SolarAid charity. We will be having a whole school SolarAid Day on Friday July 17th.  Your child will be taking part in a fun whole school yoga sun salutation!  They younger children will also be buddying up with the older children to join in some fun dancing and have a sing-a-long.

Children can come to school dressed in bright comfortable clothing ready to celebrate the sun and do some yoga.

A solar lamp for a family costs just £3 but any donation that you can make to sponsor your child in their challenges would be gratefully received.  Please share this link with your family and friends too!

We believe that no home, school or health clinic should be left in the dark.

Small solar lights have a big impact. Not only do they represent the first step on the road to a cleaner, safer, renewable future, our research shows that this first step has a greater impact than any subsequent step ‘up the energy ladder.’ For the first time, families can stop using dangerous, polluting kerosene lamps and candles.
