Active April

St Mary’s School Chiddingfold has completed Active April! Raising funds towards a fantastic new school library. Children from Reception to Year 6 set their own active challenges - including swimming 100 lengths, riding 75km, hiking 29 miles, doing 60,000 extra steps, cycling to and from school, learning new gymnastic skills and monkey bars every day! Then on 30th April all pupils took part in the St Mary’s Marathon, running their hardest to try to collectively clock up 26.2 miles. The results will be officially announced in assembly on Friday 3 May and we think the children will be pretty happy with the result! All amounts, big and small, are gratefully received.
