St Matthew’s Fun Run (YR 1)

On Friday 6th February, we will be holding the St Matthew’s Fancy Dress Fun Run!

This charity event, planned by the St Matthew’s Charity Committee, will give every child in Year R, Year 1 and Year 2 the chance to take part in a fun and exciting event that celebrates movement while raising money for our chosen charities.

The fun run will take place around the school during the morning. During each class’s running slot, the total number of laps completed by the class will be counted, with the class that completes the most laps being crowned Year Group Champions.

St Matthew’s fun runs are first and foremost about having fun and enjoying being active, and we are excited to host this event, which has been completely created and planned by the children on the Charity Committee.

For this fundraising event, we are encouraging every child to gain sponsorship for their year group.
