Sponsored Readathon

Are you ready to take part in this exciting autumn activity and help raise funds for our lovely school.

Our big goal this year is to raise enough to help fund air conditioning within the classrooms, so hopefully fewer lost teaching hours in the summer term.

We're calling on every St Nicolas pupil to join us in Sponsored Readathon over the half term holidays from October 17th - November 1st.

The task is simple - read in as many unusual places or to as many people, animals or toys as you can. 

How you can get involved:

  • Think of all the weird and wonderful places you can possibly read. Or have you got a favourite book? Read it to as many of your family members or friends as you can. You can even see if your toys or pets enjoy listening to the story.
  • Take photos of your unusual reading spot, or of you reading to your toys or pets. Share them with your family, friends and neighbours and ask them to sponsor you. You can also upload photos to your Superkind sponsorship page - just click on top of this page on 'Join this Campaign'. Photos are password protected.
  • Alternatively upload photos to Tapestry instead, or create a physical collage of your holiday reading to take to school to be shared with the rest of the class.
  • Every St Nicolas pupil taking part will be given a certificate.
