THE TGC 1509 CHALLENGE
Founded in 1509, our school has a long history not only of academic excellence but also of supporting those in need. Generations of students have taken part in charitable efforts, and this year, the TGC is proud to continue that tradition with the launch of the 1509 Challenge. A series of fundraising challenges, created by each individual taking part, based on the number 1509.
Starting at the beginning of the new school year in September and running until the end of October Remedy, TGC members will be taking on a variety of self-set challenges to raise money for the school’s bursary fund. These will include everything from chess matches and running goals to push-up routines and reading targets. Each challenge is designed to push us in different ways — physically, mentally, and creatively — and we’ll be sharing our progress along the way. However, it isn't just the TGC taking part, the goal is to get as many fellow pupils involved as possible. We are encouraging the whole school to sign up to the 1509 Challenge and fundraise for their own challenge, based on the number 1509.
Our aim is simple: to complete our goals and fundraise as much as we can to support students who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access the opportunities our wonderful school provides. Every donation goes directly to the bursary fund and makes a real difference.

Thank you so much for visiting our site and for supporting the 1509 Challenge. We’re excited to get started and incredibly grateful for your help. Please also submit any photos to tgcommittee@stpaulsschool.org.uk; we would love to see your challenges in action.
