Across the UK, children and young people continue to face a range of complicated challenges – with many having to cope with lots of issues at once.

BBC Children in Need fund vital support for children and young people struggling with challenges caused by mental health, poverty, social inequality and family-related issues.  

The theme this year is 'Challenge Yourself to 25'!

To mark 2025, you could challenge yourself to do 25 of anything; 25 kilometres on a bike, 25 cupcakes baked, a 25-minute football tournament.. whatever you like!  On Friday 14 November, your teachers will be embracing the theme this year and challenge you to complete lots of activities to do with the number 25!  

Whether you’re taking on a physical challenge, baking cakes, or choosing your own thing – you can be there for children across the UK, by helping to fund vital projects supported by BBC Children in Need.
