Stanley House are fundraising for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children

Stanley House have chosen to support the NSPCC with their charity fundraising this year. 

  • Did you know that on average a child contacts childline every 3 seconds
  • 28% of contacts answered by the NSPCC's helpline lead to a referral
  • Mental and emotional health and wellbeing are the top concerns for children contacting Childline

The NSPCC help protect children and prevent abuse by working with families, communities and professionals across the UK and Channel Islands. Their services play a vital role in safeguarding children and helping them thrive.

Stanley are going to be fundraising this year with lots of events in school. They are starting with the Year 11s holding a movie night for Year 7, then the Year 9 charity fair. In the summer term Year 7 will do a sponsored run and Year 8 and Year 10 will plan their charity events in the coming months.
