This March, Tadpoles Nursery Kensington is excited to take part in the Ready Steady Listen challenge in partnership with Usborne Books and Sara’s Story Store.

To celebrate World Book Day (2–8 March), our nursery pupils will be listening to as many stories as they can — from picture books and poems to songs and short tales — and enjoying the magic of being read to. Every moment spent listening will help nurture a love of stories, language, and imagination!

The more our children listen, the more they develop their vocabulary, comprehension, and storytelling skills. Let’s encourage a love of listening, share the joy of books, and inspire every Tadpole to explore new stories!

The challenge will raise funds for a very special cause: children's hospitals. We aim to donate a collection of  books to young patients who often spend extended periods in the hospital. All funds raised will be used to purchase these books, bringing the joy of reading and a bit of much-needed escape to children during their hospital stays. We plan to donate to one or two hospitals. Your support will help us share the magic of stories with those who need it most!
