Kingfisher Class

On Tuesday 16 June 2026, Stephen Gray is going to be visiting North Petherton Community Primary School. Stephen is a 3 x Guinness World Record Holding, Pro Football Freestyler (try saying that three times quickly!) who has a wealth of experience in performing at a wide variety of events. Dazzling crowds with his jaw-dropping skills with a football, he has showcased his tricks all over the world and is now coming to support our fundraising efforts.

A motivational assembly will start the school day, before all children engage in fun and engaging workshops to complete our Toe Tap Challenge!

• Can you raise £20.26?

This day is however just a snapshot of a whole week of fun, which will include a variety of inclusive activities, held during the lunch hour:

• Keepy-Ups
• Dribble Drill
• Flag colouring/design your own football kit
• Penalty shoot-out
• "Four Corners"; and
• School Council's Choice!

The week will end with the results of an inter-class football competition and a penalty shoot out against the teachers! The closing ceremony will see all children presented with a beautiful wooden medal to celebrate their achievements.

Ways children could raise their sponsorship money

• Ask family and friends to sponsor them for the Toe Tap Challenge!
• Help out at home with small jobs (tidying, washing the car, helping in the garden).
• Give up a small treat for a week and donate the money saved.
• Collect spare change from family members.
