Anthony O'Hanlon (a Parish Dad in Yr2 and Yr4) is running two marathons in April, in his quest to qualify for the Boston Marathon (he needs to run sub 3:20 at a qualifying race). To encourage him to meet this challenge, he is raising funds for FOPS, which will benefit all the children at Parish now and in the future.

Please support if you can and please join us in leaving a message of encouragement for Anthony to help him take on this challenge! 
The Friends of Parish School need to raise £5000 towards much-needed playground upgrades (this is an additional sum of money on top of what we raised last year for the playground project and will ensure the project can the completed in full and includes the Reception playground).  

Anthony will definitely be running TWO marathons, 7-days apart in April:

  • Brighton Marathon - 12th April
  • Manchester Marathon - 19th April 

If he isn't completely broken after that, he is going to attempt a THIRD marathon the following week by running the London Marathon route going from the finish to the start (this is an unofficial marathon)

  • London Marathon Route - Starting 00.01 26th April!
