The Friends of Blake School Association will be hosting the Wild Walk on Friday 15th May 2026, on the school grounds, during school hours.

All of the students will navigate their way over the trim trail, tyre obstacles, an inflatable assault course and various other challenges along the way, with a trophy at the end for the class who have completed the most laps. Each year group will have a quick warm up and then 30 minutes on the course.

How it works:
● Each child can use the SuperKind platform to ask for sponsorship from friends and family, for taking part in Wild Walk. Sponsorships, no matter how big or small, will be gratefully received. (Paper forms are available if preferred)
● If possible, please do include GiftAid as it will raise additional funds for the school. You just need to be UK taxpayer to do this.
● On the day of the Wild Walk – teachers and members of the Friends will supervise and assist the children in completing the course, and a small refreshment will be handed out at the end. Children are required to wear their PE kits, trainers that are easy to get on and off quickly, sun hat, and bring along their water bottles.

This year we are raising money to put astroturf around the Trim Trail on the playing field so it can be used all year round, and also a running track!

And remember, all money raised by events organised by the Friends also help contribute to:

• Playground Re-surfacing
• Sensory Garden
• Field Trips, Coach Travel, Performing Arts Workshops
• Classroom Supplies and Teacher Resources
• Indoor Play Equipment
• Sports Kit and Equipment

We are looking forward to a fun filled day with the children and aim to raise as much as we can for our school!

All children will be included in this event regardless of having sponsorship or not.
