Curriculum & Faculty Fundraising

UPDATE - JULY 2025. Currently we have raised £25,924 from our regular donors and are 74% towards our target for the year.

With ever increasing pressure on school budgets due to NI increases, inflation and unfunded pay awards, we are increasingly needing to rely on the generous support of our school parents, alumni and local companies to ensure we can continue to offer the broad curriculum, facilities and life experiences that make King's such a special school. 

We have a number of projects for 2025 that we feel will have a positive impact for the school community which we cannot, unfortunately, fund from the school budget. As such, we have set a fundraising target of £35,000 for this year.  

Sports (Target £5,500)

• New goals
• New football kits for current Year 8&9 students
• New athletic vests for all years
• Two additional table tennis tables

Music (Target £3,500)

• Purchase of a new drum set
• Purchase of 2 new electric guitars

Faculty & Curriculum (Target £26,000)

• CAD 3D Printer (sponsorship received & install in progress)
• New floor for the drama workroom
• Visual demonstration screen for food technology
• Curtains & lighting for the drama studio (purchased & installed)
• Weather station (purchased & installed)

We are fortunate to have already received some donations King's Friends and individual families which have enabled us to progress with some of these priorities - but will appreciate any additional support of our campaign so we can move these projects forwards as quickly as possible.
