Every year, the Charities Prefects select 4 charities that represent and have a relevance to the school and our wider community. This year we have decided to support the World Food Programme, Sickle Cell Society, Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall and CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young). We will be organising a range of events including the ever popular non-uniform days, charities week and culture market.
"Our choice to support Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall, The Sickle Cell Society, Cardiac Risk in the Young, and World Food Programme is rooted in a deeply personal place. Each of these causes has affected the lives of people on our team either directly or through someone they love, and we wanted our support to empathise that connection. These charities symbolise genuine narratives, real losses, and sincere hopes within our team. This is not just about giving, it is about remembering, honouring, and making a difference in the areas that are most significant to us."
