In St Chad’s we see ourselves as part of the wider school family and part of a house which seeks to be a caring, challenging and energetic part of that family.  We just want to have a go, all are welcome and all should be encouraged to take part and be a part of St Chads sponsored walk to support the Cathedral.

The Whole School Sponsored Walk, taking place on Friday 19th September 2025. This special occasion aims to raise funds for the Cathedral Crisis Appeal and offers a rare and valuable opportunity for the entire school community to come together in a shared experience. 

The walk will follow a 10 mile circular route that leads us through scenic paths into Ferry Meadows, where students will stop for lunch and take part in some fun house activities. All staff members will be involved—either walking the route alongside students or supervising at designated checkpoints and water stations. Members of the Senior Leadership Team have already completed the route and are fully familiar with it.
