WRA Missions!

Weston Road are on a mission! This year we have set ourselves a target to fund as many air ambulance
missions for the West Midlands Ambulance trust as we can as a thank you for the amazing work they
do to save lives day in, day out.
Each mission costs the service £2950, and they complete on average 10 every day. Our mission is to raise enough
to fund as many as we can!

The Great Weston Road Charity Fun Run!

Over the past eight years the school community has raised over £30 000 for charity by taking part in these charity fun runs. This year we have been on a mission to raise funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance! As you are aware it is a charity very close to our hearts and it was our school mission this year to try and raise over £10 000 to fund three air ambulance missions.

By taking part in ‘The Great Weston Road Fun Run’ we are uniting as a school community to support the fantastic work of the Midlands Air Ambulance.  Our aim is for every pupil and member of staff running, jogging, walking the 4km route and raising as much money as possible.

The fun run will take place during the school day and solely on school site. It will be supervised by members of staff. Pupils should come dressed in their PE kit on the day but are more than welcome to change into fancy dress for the fun run to make the run extra special. The fun run will take place on the afternoon of Thursday 16^th July.
