Dear Parents/Carers,
Birds in the UK face a very uncertain time and, unfortunately, many are declining in number at a rapid rate. In year 5 this term, our topic is 'Birds' and therefore we are very passionate about ensuring they are as successful as possible in order to be enjoyed for many generations to come.
To raise money for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), we will be holding a "cash-only" sale of DIY, children-made fatballs during Charity Week however we are also going to be holding a raffle with the very exciting chance to win one of FOUR amazing RSPB "singing" plush toys (RRP of £10 each) - they can be found here (Singing Bird Toys Buy 2 Save £2 | Gift Offer - RSPB Shop) on their website.
For your chance to win one of either the robin, kingfisher, woodpecker or goldfinch, a strip of raffle tickets can be purchased, costing £2. For every £1 extra you donate on this website, your child will receive an extra strip of raffle tickets...the more bought, the more chance you have of winning (for example, £5 will get you 4 strips - the first for £2 and then three more strips with the remaining £3). The draw will be made on the afternoon of Friday 30th.
Huge thank you in advance for your support...from us...and the birds!
