PTA - Raise £26 for 2026 challenge!
Dear students and parents,
This year the PTA is challenging each student (or family) to fundraise £26 over 2026 for our school!
The evidence shows that children perform amazingly well when challenged to raise money for charity - so we want to hand it over to the children of our school to see what they’ve got!
You can raise your £26 however you want – the more creative ideas the better and we will want to hear about it...
From bake sales, to read-a-thons, to sponsored silences or overnight stay awakes (sorry!) and everything inbetween – there will be prizes for the most the creative ideas we hear about.
How is it going to work?
- Start planning now – the more creative the better!
- Get your sponsors, run your events and raise your money at any time over 2026.
- Pay your money to our SuperKind page or drop your money at the school office.
Are there prizes?
Yes! Every student who completes the £26 for 2026 challenge will receive a certificate in assembly. There will be prizes for the most creative ideas, the class which raises the most and the class who have the most students who complete the challenge.
Is it compulsory?
No (like every PTA event it is not compulsory but we want as many people as possible to get involved!) and if you are a family with more than one student in the school it is per family. To note, you can’t use the school, school hall etc for your fundraising.
What happens if I am in Year 6?
We’d love you to get involved but you will only have until end of Summer term to be involved in the challenge.
Do I have to raise £26?
No – any money raised is brilliant – we want to hear about your creative ideas and hope everyone has fun – you will still get a certificate!
Your time starts when you have read this email! Good luck!! Any questions – chat with us on the playground or email us at pta@wheldrakewiththorganbyschool.co.uk.
