The 2026 Super Challenge – Attenborough Class

We are delighted to announce the launch of the 2026 Challenge to raise funds to support the enhancement  and elevation of  the Early Years outdoor learning environment.

" The Early Years outdoor environment is a vital part of children's development and learning. It supports physical development, encourages exploration and curiosity, promotes emotional well-being, connects children with nature and helps to improve focus and learning."

The challenge is simple: over the next 6 weeks children are invited to take part and raise a class total of £202.60 (or more if they’re feeling ambitious!) in any way they wish.

We hope each child can seek sponsorship or donations from their friends and family (parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, friends, neighbours).  We encourage you to have a discussion with your children about helping others and how their efforts directly benefit our school!

Every penny counts!  Each class has its own fundraising page, and the class in KS1 and KS2 that raises the most per child will WIN a prize! The closing date is Friday 8th May 2026.

Need an idea? How about something like…

🏃 Something sporty
A sponsored swim, bike ride, walk, skipping challenge, football goal challenge, climb, or even a hop-a-thon!

🎨 Something crafty
Sell your artwork, crafts, or delicious homemade bakes, or offer to paint portraits of your friends and family

🧹 Something helpful
Offer to do chores at home, wash the car, help in the garden or organise a litter pick in your local park.

📚 Something different
A sponsored read-a-thon, a “no sweets for a month” challenge, a sponsored silence, or invent your own creative fundraiser.

They can get creative and think outside the box!  The number 26 might just inspire some fun ideas like:

  • 26 star jumps
  • 26 minutes run
  • 26 keepy uppies
  • 26 laps of the garden
  • 26 acts of kindness
  • 26 jumps every 26 minutes
  • 26 minutes reading each day for a week
  • 26 minutes of sponsored silence
  • 26 portions of fruit and veg eaten in a a week

If you’re a UK taxpayer, when donating please tick Gift Aid — it allows us to claim an extra 25p from the government for every £1 donated at no extra cost to you.

A paper sponsorship form will also be available for request if you prefer.  Thank you so much for your  continued support of our events.  It truly means the world to us.

Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram page for ideas and updates. @WilliamFletcherPTA

WE ARE REALLY EXCITED TO SEE YOUR IDEAS COME TO LIFE.
