Get Ready for Our Big Read-a-thon!

To celebrate our much-loved Book Fair (w/c 24th November), we’re launching an exciting Sponsored Read-a-thon!
Our goal? To raise £500 across EYFS and Key Stage 1 for brand new books and learning resources - and maybe even beat Key Stage 2 while we’re at it!

✨ Why Read Every Day?

Reading for just 10 minutes a day can make a world of difference. It builds imagination, boosts vocabulary, and sparks curiosity. Whether your child is reading aloud, sharing a story with you, or listening to a bedtime tale, those minutes together create wonderful habits - and memories - that last a lifetime.

📖 How to Take Part

Children can read (or be read to) from anything with words - books, comics, magazines, menus, websites, poems, leaflets, cereal boxes, even recipes! Every word counts.

🏆 Prizes and Rewards

  • The child in each year group who logs the most reading minutes will win a brand-new book!

  • Every child who logs reading minutes on all 14 days will earn a special certificate.

  • And those who raise the most sponsorship money in each year group will have their name proudly written inside a new library book, gifted to our school for everyone to enjoy for years to come.

Let’s turn the pages, read our hearts out, and show how powerful our stories can be - together!
