St Swithun’s Challenge: supporting the Bramston Foundation’s transformational bursary programme.
Every two years, we come together for a morning of sponsored activities across both St Swithun’s prep and senior school, raising vital funds for the Bramston Foundation’s transformational bursary programme. This event will again be kindly sponsored by Knight Frank.
Named after, Anna Bramston, who believed passionately that a good education should be accessible to girls from any background, the Foundation fundraises to provide boarding places for girls from very disadvantaged circumstances or on the edge of needing UK social care, which means that every donation is supporting vulnerable young lives.
This year, we are encouraging everyone to raise a minimum of £40 in sponsorship. If all participants reach this target, we could support two new students in the coming year. Widening access to St Swithun’s is a gift we can all give together, and it makes our school community a more inclusive place for all.
In our most recent St Swithun’s Challenge, we raised a total of £24,000 of which £17,984 (incl. GiftAid) was raised by a very successful inter-house fundraising competition.
Let’s see if we can beat our last St Swithun’s Challenge!
