We’re excited to be taking part in Happy Shoesday on Tuesday 19 May 2026 — a fun fundraising day celebrating walking, wellbeing and creativity!

On the day, children are invited to come to school wearing any shoes that make them feel happy. Bright, colourful, sparkly, sporty, comfy or wonderfully wacky — anything goes!

We’re asking families to donate what they can to take part. Every donation will help support healthier, safer and more walkable communities for children.

Importantly, 50% of all money raised will go directly to Crofton Infants School, helping support our pupils and school community, while the other 50% will go to Living Streets, the UK charity behind Walk to School and Happy Shoesday.

Happy Shoesday is a simple way for children to have fun, express themselves and help make a positive difference at the same time.
