Raise £20.26 in 2026!

Hello, we're Catforth Primary School PTA and we’re delighted to launch our 2026 Sponsored Challenge: Raise £20.26 in 2026!

All money raised will go directly towards improvements at our school. Our current top priority is outdoor spaces – there is a big list of things to do to make outdoor learning and break times at Catforth even better! A new running track will soon be needed to replace the current one which is wearing out, and school have big plans to improve the garden spaces and buy new outdoor equipment. Every contribution makes a real difference. There is no pressure to raise the full amount suggested; and siblings/families could work together to meet the goal too. 

Getting involved is simple: Each child chooses their own challenge and aims to raise up to £20.26 in sponsorship. Children can be as creative as they like. Some ideas based around the “26” theme could be:

• Cycling 26 miles 

• Swimming 26 lengths 

• Reading 26 books (or chapters!) 

• Completing 26 acts of kindness 

• Running 26 laps of the park 

• Learning 26 capital cities or interesting facts 

The sponsored challenge will run until Wednesday 3rd June 2026. We will have trophies and small prizes for the:

• Most active challenge 

• Most inventive idea 

• Most kind or helpful 

• Biggest fundraiser 

Every entrant will receive a medal.
