Our Caritas Ambassadors at Saint Christina’s School are leading this year’s Crisis at Christmas Appeal, inspired by the principles of Catholic Social Teaching and a shared commitment to helping those most in need in our community.
Since September, the Ambassadors have been learning about homelessness in Westminster, where over 3,300 people were affected last year. They felt strongly that no one should face winter without warmth, safety or support, and wanted to take meaningful action to help.
This campaign brings together the whole school community in two key ways:
Christmas Jumper Day – Thursday 11th December
Pupils are invited to wear their brightest, most festive Christmas jumpers to raise awareness of homelessness and show solidarity with those supported by Crisis. Families who wish to donate can contribute directly to our fundraising page.
